The East Caribbean dollar (XCD) is the currency of eight of the nine members (except British Virgin Islands) of OECS (Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States), Anguilla (UK), Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat (UK), Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Saint Lucia. The currency code is XCD and currency symbol is $, or EC$. The East Caribbean dollar is subdivided into 100 cents (singular: cent; symbol: ¢ or c). Frequently used East Caribbean dollar coins are in denominations of EC$1, EC$2, 1¢, 2¢, 5¢, 10¢, 25¢. Frequently used East Caribbean dollar banknotes are in denominations of EC$5, EC$10, EC$20, EC$50, EC$100.
